Why we're different

We read the other reviews — so we built the opposite

The average Trustpilot score across leading online auction sites is just 2.56 out of 5. We analysed thousands of real buyer experiences to understand why — then designed Bid STOCS to fix every complaint and pain point.

✕ Most common complaints
✓ The Bid STOCS solution
Inaccurate descriptions, wrong or missing items, even empty boxes shipped — with no recourse.
Verified lots. Every item photographed — multiple images of the actual lot item. No empty boxes. Ever.
"Grade B" that could mean anything from a light scratch to scrap.
Grading that means something. Every lot is graded on a clear, consistent STOCS scale — all items as described, with any cosmetic wear photographed and disclosed up front, so you know exactly what you're bidding on.
30–68% in fees and VAT bolted on at checkout.
One all-in price. Buyer's premium and VAT are shown next to the figure you bid — not hidden and then added at checkout.
Wrong items, no tracking, and nobody answering.
Proper fulfilment. Tracked delivery and customer service on hand 7 days a week.
Aggregator junk flooding the listings.
Retailer-direct stock only. Every lot curated, graded, photographed and described before it goes live.
🔒
Built in from day one. Every fix above is a design decision in how Bid STOCS works — not a future promise. It's why you can bid with confidence from the very first lot.

Bid STOCS Q&A

Good to know

When do you launch?

Summer 2026. Register your email now and we'll tell you the moment registration and bidding opens.

What can I buy?

Returned and surplus retail stock — small appliances, audio and TV, homeware, toys, DIY and more — as single items or full boxes. All of it sourced retailer-direct, never from aggregators.

How does pricing work?

Bidding starts at £2 with no reserve on every lot. Buyer's premium and VAT are shown next to the figure you bid — not hidden and then added at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.

How do I know the lots are as described?

Every item is photographed with multiple HD images and functionally tested, then graded on a clear, consistent STOCS scale. Every lot listed is fully functional, with any cosmetic wear disclosed up front. If something still isn't as described, 14-day buyer protection gives you a full refund.

How do you keep the bidding fair?

There's no house bidding, automated monitoring watches for suspicious bid patterns, and anti-snipe extensions add time when bids land in the final moments — so every lot gets a fair finish.
